How do I get to the BP Energy Center?

The BP Energy Center is located at 1014 Energy Court, Anchorage, AK 99508. This address in Google Maps will direct you to the west parking lot entrance, located off Energy Court. A manicured path at the southeast corner of this parking lot will lead you to the main entrance of the BP Energy Center.

Where should I park?

Parking is available in our west parking lot, located off Energy Court. Park here and access the manicured path at the southeast corner of the parking lot, which leads to the main entrance of the facility.

For ADA access, a small parking lot is located further east on Energy Court, past the large, multi-colored preschool. The last right before the gate will be the employee and ADA parking lot. Follow the manicured path to the east ADA entrance.

For larger events, overflow parking is available across Energy Court at Benson Tower.

Where can I load meeting equipment or catering into the facility?

For delivery of event equipment or catering, coordinate with staff to access the service entry located adjacent to the employee and ADA parking lot at the east end of Energy Court.

Can I bring food to my event?

Yes. Whether it’s from one of the fine catering establishments in town, a curated selection of tasty treats from local restaurants and stores, or something from your kitchen, we want you to feel confident in hosting your event’s food needs. A Preferred Caterers List is available by contacting staff. Users taking advantage of our flexible food policy should communicate with staff about staging requirements prior to their event. We request that a credit card be held on file. A cleaning fee, should it be necessary, would be no greater than $150.

How do I reserve a room?

Making a reservation is quick and easy through our online reservation platform. First, click on the “Reservations” tab at the top of the Home page. From here, you can see what each of our five rooms looks like, including the setup of the tables, and it lists the maximum capacities. Clicking the “Booking Options” button lists the available equipment. Once you have chosen a room, click the “Book Now” button, which will direct you to the landing page of our scheduling platform. From here, you will choose a reservation length. Click the option that best suits your needs. If more time is needed for this purpose outside of the BP Energy Center’s listed hours, users may reserve additional time the day before or the day after, if available, to accomplish these tasks. All users should prepare to enter and exit the building within business hours.

What is the BP Energy Center doing to ensure public health and safety?

BP Energy Center's management efforts include actively monitoring the ventilation system to ensure filters and systems are functioning properly. Filters are changed regularly as necessary. The building currently has a two-part filtration system. The pre-filter has an MERV 8 rating and is changed quarterly. The main bag filters are MERV 15 and are changed annually, or sometimes sooner, when the system indicates they may need to be replaced. Enhanced cleaning and janitorial services, along with additional pandemic cleaning protocols, have been implemented to support public health measures. The building features several hand sanitizer stations located throughout the facility to assist individuals in the sanitation process.
