Who is eligible to use the BP Energy Center?

The following organizations are eligible to use the BP Energy Center:

  • Community-based Nonprofits (501(c)3s)

  • Educational & Educational Support Organizations

  • Professional Associations (501(c)6s)

  • Faith-based Organizations (for community service and/or educational uses)

  • Social Welfare Organizations (501(c)4s)

What are the hours of operation?

Monday through Thursday from 8:30 am to 8:00 pm
Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

How much does it cost to reserve a meeting space?

The Birch Room has a rate of $53 per hour.

The Aspen, Alder/Cottonwood, Spruce/Willow, and Fir rooms each have a rate of $20 per hour.

How do I reserve a room?

You can use our online reservation system, call 907-743-4270, email bpec@alaskacf.org, or stop by to talk in person with our staff.

What if I need additional help with a reservation?

For help with multi-room, multi-day, reservations more than 6 months out, or cancelling/changing a reservation, please contact staff directly via phone at 907-743-4270, emailing bpec@alaskacf.org, or stopping by to chat in person.

How does payment work?

Payment for your reservation is due 30 days before your event’s start date.
When making your reservation, if there are fewer than 30 days remaining before your event, payment is required at the time of the reservation.

Online payment is possible via the link provided in your reservation confirmation email. If you prefer to receive an emailed invoice, please contact us by phone at 907-743-4270 or via email at bpec@alaskacf.org

How do I get to the BP Energy Center?

The BP Energy Center is located at 1014 Energy Court, Anchorage, AK 99508. Google Maps will direct you to the west parking lot, located off Energy Court.
A footpath on the southeast edge of this parking lot will lead you to the main entrance of the BP Energy Center.

Where should I park?

Our main parking lot is located off Energy Court, west of the BP Energy Center.

An ADA and staff parking lot is located at the east end of Energy Court (past Early Learning for Everyone - Midtown). A footpath leads to the ADA entrance. Access to our service entrance is from this parking lot.

Overflow parking is available across Energy Court at Benson Tower.

Do not park in the Early Learning for Everyone - Midtown lot.

Do not park in the Residence Inn parking lot.

 

Where can I load meeting equipment or catering into the facility?

Our service entrance is available for loading in/out heavy or bulky items and for catering. It is located adjacent to our ADA/Staff parking lot at the end of Energy Court.

Can I change the rooms tables and chairs to fit my meeting style?

You can arrange the meeting spaces to fit your needs. Please consider the time required for these changes and plan your reservation accordingly. The rooms must be returned to their default setup at the end or your event, within normal facility hours.

Is there A/V technology available for meetings?

Audio, Video Conferencing, and Projection/Monitor systems are included. More information is available on our Reservations page.

How do I know if my laptop will work with the A/V equipment?

We recommend scheduling a “Tech Check” before your event to test compatibility. It is important that the equipment used during the compatibility test is the same that is used for the event.

Can I bring food to my event?

Organizations are welcome to bring or cater refreshments and meals for their attendees. 

Consult with BP Energy Center staff for the best practices on food staging locations and delivery options.
